So… ok… it appears to be a hot trend for the past week or so – IRS scam emails. Recently covered here and here. And well, here’s the latest.
The below is a scam and quoted from the email that I recieved. I put this online because more oftent than not peoples suspicions are raised and they usually ‘copy’ & ‘paste’ the subject line of the email in to Google – just like you did.

Why will the government not send tax relief bank checks to college students being taken as a dependant? Why are we left out? Do they cerebrate we’re not good enough for the money? There has to be a logical explanation. It appears to me that college students would benefit from tax relief just as much as adults with fries or individual parents, if not more, reckoning a lot of us only work portion time lines and are going to college to make something of ourselves.
